Zirconium Oxychloride

Molecular formula: ZrOCl₂•8H₂O

Properties: white needle-like crystal, if heated to 150, it will lose 6 pieces of crystal water; to 210, lose all the crystal water; can dissolve in water, methanol, alcohol, ether, but not in other solvents. The aqueous solution is acidity.

Uses: It can be used as the material of the other zirconium products, also used as grease, additive, waterproof material, fireproof material and used in areas of ceramics, electronics, optical glass and so on.
