ZrOCl28H2O

White aciform crystal, if heated to 150. It will lose 6 pieces of crystal water; to 210, lose all the crystal water; can dissolve in water, methanol, alcohol, ether, but not in other solvents. The aqueous solution is acidity.

Use: It can be used as the material of the other zirconium products, also used as grease, additive, waterproof material, fireproof material and used in areas of ceramics, electronics, optical glass and so on.

Zirconium Dioxide

Formula: ZrO2  
Performance: White powder without certain pattem: Its crystal has many varieties. The white powder is monoclinic form; the yellow one is cubic crystal, smelless and tasteless; the cubic form's density is 5.6; monoclinic form is 5.85; melting pointing 2715; not dissolve in water, dissolve in hot concentrated hydroflaoric acid and sulphate; while metling with alkali can produce stable zireonales.
Use: Mainly used in piezoelectric ceramies products, ceramics for dialy use, fireproof material, electric industry and optical glass etc.

Formula: ZrOCO3 • nH2O
Performance: White crystal powder, smelless and tasteless; can not dissolve in water and alcohol, but dissolve in acid solution and give out carbon dioxide.
Use: Widely used in the areas of medicine, cosmetis, electronics, ceramics, paint, glass industries etc. It is made from zirconium oxychloride and sodium carbonate.
